I GOT A FIVE ON THE AP EURO TEST!!!!!!
YES!!!!
Also, this morning I finished watching Samurai Deeper Kyo, and I refuse to believe (spoilers for the rest of the paragraph!) that Kyoshiro won in that final battle. Especially because it's ridiculous to say she cares for him as much as Kyo; she doesn't know him as well, and she's always happier when Kyo was out that when Kyoshiro was. I think that when Migeira asked her if she could love the winner, she said yes so firmly because she knew Kyo would win. Anyway, I prefer Kyo to Kyoshiro--Kyo is so blatantly honest about almost everything (except his feelings) that you can't help but like him. And his arrogance grows on you. He's surprisingly likable, though you wouldn't think it.
END SPOILERS
I also am now using Firefox, which is nice because it tells me when I'm spelling things wrong without me having to blatantly spellcheck.
So I emailed the God of History Teachers and told him about my five. I'm so happy!!! It's wonderful!!
One day of class left. I'm ready to go home, but I'm definitely going to miss this. It was so much fun. I tried to weave a scarf for gothsocks, but it's not long enough to be scarf. :( I did weave a big blanket, 3 by seven feet, give or take a few inches.
So back to editing I go!
I GOT A FIVE!

Date: 2007-07-13 02:23 am (UTC)But, omg YAY! That's GREAT! I got a 4, :). *Is really happy because there was no way in hell I could have gotten a 5, since I like, only read half the textbook....* At my school we had 50 people take the test, and got 5's, 7 got 4's, 20 got 3's, 11 got 2's, and 9 got 1's.
But yay! You're smarter than me, and yay, we both did well!

Date: 2007-07-13 03:23 am (UTC)I think perhaps it's the teacher. Last year at my school, like 3 people didn't pass. There were like 12 5s and 30 4s and 8 3s o something. I don't know what the count is this year. But we have the best AP teacher ever at my school. Seriously, he knows everything and covered so many things we didn't need to know. He's brilliant and wonderful. I think that's why I did so well, honestly.
Congratulations on your four, by the way. If you want to go to Colorado College, you'd be able to skip one unit of european history course, if that makes you feel good about yourself (I just got interviewed there, that's why I know).

Date: 2007-07-13 03:29 am (UTC)Most schools give you credit for a 3 or above, :). The really hard ones only except 4 and 5's, so yay, I'm good for basically everything :). I'm gonna go to community college after high school anyway, but yesh.
Anyway, I loved Euro, it was my favorite class ever, so that's what matters.
You beat me though, :p. Considering we chose the same essays and everything, heh. *Claps for you*
And weird for the friends thing. My post after the AP test had me say in it "ANSWER THIS NEBUILA!" And you never did, lol.

Date: 2007-07-13 03:38 am (UTC)That's possible, too...I mean, AP is pretty much open to just juniors and seniors at my school, and by this time, it's all hard-core "AP SCORES ARE IMPORTANT, DAMMIT!" I know that when I was a freshman and even a sophomore, I was like "College is far away and so this isn't important..." Bullshit, of course, but if I'd taken an AP course then, I would have been blah. I feel bad for your teacher, too, then...
Apparently I'm checking out really hard schools, because it's all 4s and 5s at the schools I'm looking at. Of course, when you've got a Creative Writing teacher breathing "AMHERST, DAMMIT!" down your neck, I suppose you have to check out hard schools.
