I'm movin' up...
Mar. 7th, 2007 08:14 pmWell, after having my beloved second-generation iPod for two years and 10 months, it finally gave up on me and was only holding a 15-minute charge. The Apple guy said, "You can get a new refurbished iPod for 70 bucks, but you'll have to do it once a year 'cause it'll keep dying on you. Or you can exchange it now and get a brand-new x-generation (I dunno what number they're on now) iPod for 10% off."
So now I have a black iPod. I have joined the masses.
I'm a little in awe with the whole 'color and video' thing, but I'm also kinda down. My second-generation iPod was cool, dammit! Retro-cool.
Of course, my car, Minerva is retro, and now Anneliese is retro too, so perhaps I'm leaving the past. The irony is that Anneliese is aroun a year and a half old, and my car is only a 2000. Bob the iPod was only 3 years old...and retro. *sigh*
It's still kinda neat, though. *g*
nebulia out.
