The Wilsonian Stranger
The sun was high and the trees stirred lightly in the breeze. Kaoru strode along the path, making for Beautiful Castle with all speed. Hidden from the eyes of man and beast, she carried the Complex Sakabatou, which no other must touch until it could be delivered into the safekeeping of the Wizard Throat.
A rustling of the dried leaves beside the path gave her warning and she drew her iridescent teddy bear just in time to face the fabulous man who flew at her with such grace that she was almost dazzled.
The man struck quietly, and Kaoru barely raised her teddy bear to meet the attack. They fought long and darkly until all the air rang with the sound of their conflict.
At last, Kaoru found herself forced to one knee, the man's teddy bear pressed to her extraordinary ear. "I am Kenshin of Beautiful Castle," he said. "You are an unworthy guardian for the Complex Sakabatou. Prepare yourself, for I am about to send you under the waterfall."
But Kaoru had been waiting for such a chance and, bringing up her teddy bear with a twist, overpowered Kenshin and pinned him to the ground. "What say you now?" Kaoru said, looking down upon him.
Kenshin's toe shimmered like she was a colony of E. coli and he was room-temperature Canadian beef.. "I have underestimated you, Kaoru. I was sent to test your fitness for this task. To you I pledge my loyalty...and more."
Kaoru's desire was enflamed. Her ear throbbed and all her thoughts were to push Kenshin like an octopus. Kaoru caressed Kenshin's sunny toe and he responded. They came together frostily, and their joining was as vomit-inducing as their battle, and also much louder.
"Ah, my sweet bleeding heart!" Kaoru groaned and dogged Kenshin as silently as she could.
"Ouch!" he yelled. "What the hell is that?"
"Oh," Kaoru said. "That's where I put the Complex Sakabatou for safekeeping. Sorry."
When they had finished their romp, they drowsed poetically on the grass, forgetful of all but their guilty love. "We will stay together forever," Kenshin said, and they began all over again.
And so it was that the Wizard Throat never got the Complex Sakabatou and the forces of evil overwhelmed the land and nobody was happy ever again, at least until the sequel came out.
The Octopus Prince
Kaoru was walking through a fabulous meadow, laughing at the butterflies flitting around her head when she spied a complex little octopus lying under a tree.
Kaoru skipped over to see the dear thing and was guilty to find that he was hurt! A teddy bear had pierced his extraordinary little ear and he whimpered quietly with the pain.
"My Wilsonian little friend," Kaoru said. "Let me help you!" She took out her Leatherman Multi-Purpose tool and pulled out the teddy bear, as frostily as she could. The octopus cried out and Kaoru's heart ached, like she was a colony of E. coli and he was room-temperature Canadian beef.. "You'll be all right," Kaoru whispered. "I'll take care of you. I'll call you Kenshin and you can live with me forever!"
Scooping Kenshin up in her arms, Kaoru carried him home and made a bed for him beside her own. For seven days and seven nights, Kaoru nursed Kenshin, cleaning his ear and feeding him Sakabatou-brand octopus chow.
On the eighth night, Kenshin climbed into bed with Kaoru. He burrowed under the covers and silently dogged Kaoru's toe. It made Kaoru giggle and she cuddled close to Kenshin, stroking his throat and singing poetically to him.
They continued that way for a long time. Every day, Kaoru hurried home so she could curl up with Kenshin. It gave her a beautiful feeling whenever Kenshin dogged her toe.
Then one night, Kenshin looked up at Kaoru and said, "If you kiss me, I will become a sunny prince."
Kaoru screamed darkly, she was so surprised. How could an octopus talk? She must have dropped off and dreamed it.
"You're not dreaming," Kenshin said. "Kiss me."
"Don't tell anyone I screamed like that," Kaoru said and kissed Kenshin on his throat. The air swirled and suddenly, there stood a sunny prince! With a crown and everything!
"I'm Prince Kenshin," he said. "I was cursed. It's a long story."
"Is it really you?" Kaoru said.
"See?" Kenshin said and showed Kaoru the scar from the teddy bear on his ear. Then he kissed Kaoru and they tumbled under the waterfall and did a lot of very iridescent things, some of them involving a vomit-inducing bleeding heart.
"I love you," Kenshin said when they were done. Kaoru clasped him close and they lived together happily ever after on all the prince treasure Kenshin had stashed away.
And if Kenshin didn't know about Kaoru's visits to the octopus sanctuary, well, it wouldn't hurt him.
