nebulia: a nebula (amused)

jeez!

Was randomly hanging out in the HP fanfic archive on FFN and thus, was fiddling around with the character settings and seeing what random shit was out there.

And was absolutely horrified that there was no Myrtle/Neville ficcage out there.

Naturally, I just decided that that was the best crack! pairing in the HP fandom just now, but still! No one else has come to this wonderful conclusion? The shame!

I will, obviously, have to add to the lackingness of NevilleMyrtle. I may have to make an icon. XP

It is time for my crack! pairings to take over the world! I'm still working on KamatariMisao and TomoeSano for RK.

Yes, TomoeSano. That is the ultimate of opposites attracting, right there.

XD

Yeah, I'm kinda cxrazy right now.

nebulia out.

Oh, I can definitely think up odder things...Kreacher/Dumbledore, for example, off the top of my head (the first two characters that popped into my mind)...ewww...I don't even want to think about the logistics of that.

And what is this favorite fic of yours? I want the Tomoe/Sano!

Oh god, ewwww.

This fic would be the series of fics called, respectively, "Swordsmen" "A Life Lived" "Walk Not Alone" and "A Rurouni Goes to College" well, A Life Lived is suppoed to go first, but it's not done, so, ya. Which is a RK/Highlander crossover, AND WORKS. Anyway, Tomoe and Sano's reincarnations get together for a bit then split up (so Sano can get with Megumi's reincarnation) but apparently there was some past history of other past lives bewteen them where they were married, so, ya. It's not over abudant, like, it's not the point of the fic- but ya, it's in there. It amused me gratly.

Oh, yeah...I've been following that. I was super-happy about that, but sad they broke up. But then, I suppose it's okay...reincarnations aren't the same people, for the most part (hence Kenshin's recent angst concerning Carrie, and, in another fandom, some of Inuyasha's angst concerning Kikyo and Kagome).

On another note, reincarnation fics bother me in the RK fandom, because reincarnations are often the exact same person they were in a previous life, with the same name and all, which is ridiculous if you ask me. I do like L. Mouse's idea of reincarnations, since they're very much different people, but they carry similar spirits (well, the same spirit, but you know what I mean).

Seriously, though. I am going to write a Tomoe/Sano fic. Featuring that pairing. It's going to happen. It'll have to be an AU, I think...

I agree on reincarnations, the only one I've ever read actually is 'Forever Mine' (despite a few sentances of this one HORRIBLE fic I'm trying to FORGET...) and I was like "And they're re-born with the sames names and everything WHY?"

Super duper yay for another Swordsmen fan. Actually, I don't like Swordsmen very much itself, but that fic is the only thing keeping me to the RK fandom.

OMG, I'VE COMPLETLY FORGOTTEN TO CHECK FOR ANY NEW FICS! Oh, whatever. *Harry Potter mode* Damn, trying to find a good fic in there is like, TORTURE.

Don't speak of Inuyasha, thank you, :).

But yesh, I agree that the reincarnations of characters and different but the same are great, but I have a feeling I can never watch Highlander now because whenever I look it up my inital reaction is "Where's Kenshin?"

And, I will have to read this fic of yours! Not usually one for crack couples (it's bad, since crack has all the best stories) but, yesh.

I need to finish my stories. I probably have around 20-or-so half done fics, one of which is completed and needs editing, hmm...

Rant, sorry.

I didn't really like Swordsmen itself, and I haven't like A Life Lived much, either, but I kept reading because I wanted to know what happened anyway. And I enjoyed/am enjoying both sequels. A lot.

Though I was bothered by Forever Mine, it was a good story, so I read it, too.

I haven't watched Highlander in years. I really need to, but none of my channels ever have it.

And I definitely need to finish a story or two...I have a promising one, but it's looking rather epic right now, and I really need to buckle down and outline it (which I never do) because it's very complex in my head and I have no idea what's going on.
